Ed Sagendorf - Financial Treasurer
Edward Sagendorf’s calling to cuisine was inspired by a strong Italian/German heritage. A native of Chatham Township, N. J., Ed graduated in 1980 from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y. His first professional experience came soon after graduation where he worked as Personal Chef, for the Board of Directors of the Beneficial Finance Company, whose members included former president, Gerald R. Ford.
He went on to embrace his new career with passion as a Poissoniere at The Manor Restaurant in West Orange, N.J. He has served as Sous Chef at various country clubs in the area and as Executive Corporate Chef at the Schering Plough Pharmaceutical Company, and General Manager of the Deutscher Club.
Ed is presently employed as Executive Chef at The Bonnie Brae Residential School in Bernards Township, N.J. Ed is father to four boys, Edward, Jonathan, Thomas, and Brian. He lives in Bedford, N.Y. with his wife, Glenda. He loves to cook healthy, Mediterranean dishes using produce from their garden. In his spare time he enjoys taking nature walks.
