Dean Kropp - Newsletter Editor
Dean Kropp is originally from the Chicago Illinois area graduating from culinary school in 1979. Kropp did stints as the pastry chef in Chicago, Memphis, Napa and Montego Bay Jamaica. Kropp was catering chef for movie stars on sets when he had two car accidents that dishonorably discharged him from his career in 2000.
Kropp is making a come back as a published author via WACS – World Association of Chefs; Paris, France – History of the Culinary Olympics. Kropp is a published photographer via Rizzoli, New York, New York; New York Living.
Kropp has been producing the newsletter for the Big Apple Chapter Chefs Association for the past 5 years. Kropp is currently writing the book about the Culinary Olympics; What’s the World’s Best Kept Secret? The Culinary Olympics, Where Food and Greatness Meet – Since 1900.
